This comprehensive entrepreneurship programme will provide learners with all the knowledge and skills they need to set up and run a successful business.
It consists of a menu of 18 modules which means that learners can choose to only learn what they need. We provide an online self-assessment to help learners choose which modules to complete. All the modules contain high quality learning content, including videos, presentations and podcasts.
The programme has been designed by entrepreneurs and skills experts and has been developed for people new to the world of business and those who require targeted learning in a particular area. This programme will help create the tools needed to make a business success, such as a competitor analysis or outline budget.

This programme has been designed for individuals wishing to set up a business, have a business idea, want to become self-employed or want to improve their current business.
There are no formal entry requirements for the programme.
However, EduGrowth may review the application to ensure that participants have the necessary experience, skills and/or qualifications to successfully complete this programme at this level.
The flexibility of the Enterprise Generator programme means it can be delivered by a range of organisations including.

- School of sixth form colleges
- Universities
- Private training providers
This programme can lead to a UK regulated qualification, either the Award in Entrepreneurship or the Certificate in Entrepreneurship depending on whether participants achieve 8 credits (4-8 modules depending on the credit size of the module) or 16 credits (between 9 and 14 modules depending on the size of the module). Taking the qualification is optional and if learners choose not to then reduced fees are available (see the Fees Tab).
Duration of the Programme
Each module has a credit value which can be seen in the list of modules in the tab to the right. Each credit equals 10 hours of learning for the average participant, so the Award or Certificate Programmes can take around 80 to 160 hours to complete depending on which bundle of modules chosen.

The purpose of this module is to help participants to test their business ideas, agree or amend them and have confidence to further develop their thinking on the next steps.
The purpose of this module is to help participants acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills needed for planning your new business. By the end of the module they will have created a start-up action plan for their business.
The purpose of this module is to help participants acquire the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to build an effective business strategy. By the end of the module they will have created a strategy for their business.
The purpose of this module is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to enable them to become effective in managing the finances of the business so that it can thrive and grow and identify and address financial issues as they arise. By the end of the module a cashflow forecast and a budget will have been created for the business.
The purpose of this module is to help participants to acquire the knowledge and understanding of the types of finance available and the skills to be able to pitch an idea to investors. By the end of this module they will have created an investor pitch deck for the business.
This module will enable help participants to acquire the understanding, knowledge and skills to create an effective marketing plan for their business.
The purpose of this module is to help participants acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills of the importance of a strong brand and the skills to identify the desired brand characteristics of their own business.
The purpose of this module is to help participants to understand the importance of effective communications in business. It will also enable them to develop the skills to confidently present their business, product and/or service ideas to stakeholders in both written and oral forms.
The purpose of this module is to help participants acquire the knowledge and understanding of the different methods used for market research and the skills and methodology to carry out effective market research for their own business. By the end of module, they will have created a market research report for their business.
The purpose of this module is to give participants the understanding and knowledge of an effective sales process as well as the skills to be able to plan and embed this in their business. By the end of this module they will have developed a sales plan for their business.
The purpose of this module is to help participants acquire the knowledge, skills and understanding on how to manage quality within your business. By the end of this module you will have developed policies and procedures to manage quality.
The purpose of this module is to help participants acquire the knowledge and understanding of creativity and innovation and the skills to apply them in their own business. By the end of the module they will have assessed the innovation and creativity in their business idea.
The purpose of this module is to help participants acquire the knowledge, skills and understanding on how to manage physical resources within a business. By the end of the module the participant will have created a plan to manage physical resources in the business.
The purpose of this module is help participants acquire the knowledge, skills and understanding on how to create a productive and motivated workforce. By the end of the module they will created a staff induction and monitoring process.
The purpose of this module is to help participants acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills to identify the staffing needs of the business and then recruit and employ the right staff in accordance with legislation. By the end of the module they will have created a plan for the allocation of human resources.
The purpose of this module is to enable participants to understand the importance of a strong customer service focus and to consider how they can apply it in their own business. By the end of the module they will have developed customer service standards and created a plan for a customer service focus in the business.
The purpose of this module is help participants review your knowledge, understanding and skills and what requires further development to support their business success. By the end of this module learners will have assessed their own personal development needs and created a personal development plan.
The purpose of this module is designed to enable participants to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding of how to build the business’ online presence. By the end of the module they will have developed a plan to increase the business’ online presence.
